Long sleeved camera assistant in HCMC, Vietnam

On the first full day of my 20-day visit in Vietnam, I noticed something very obvious and conflicting, with my eyes while in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

Everywhere I go. Everywhere I look. The thermometer read +35C (95F). The heat. The humidity – oh the humidity – it was about 95%. Pillow fight day in Toronto

Today – April 5, 2014 is International Pillow Fight Day. I’ve known about this annual event for a few years now. Though this is my first year where I’m finally able to participate – physically, photographically. I don’t remember how I came across Newmindspace but they are the mastermind behind a whack of crazy fun events in North America. Social media comes in handy to help organize these awesome activities!

Even on a broader reference, I have barely explored the provinces of Ontario and Manitoba, they are the provinces of Toronto and Winnipeg, respectively.

So to celebrate my birthday, I naturally “traveled” and ate. In the last 48 hours, I had traveled to Mexico, Japan, Philippines and Italy – without getting on an airplane. Would you like to come along? Continue reading
