Now that I’m back on the road, curiosity strikes when I meet new people – locals or fellow travelers alike. So I thought it might be interesting to share the questions I get asked and my answers here. If you have a question, feel free and ask away. I will do my best to answer them!
I met a mother and daughter who are from Saskatoon, Canada who are visiting Greece and Turkey for 3 weeks. We met at the Trikala bus station and were headed to Meteora, Greece. Exactly 2 months from today, I will board an airplane and fly to Istanbul, Turkey. When I land on June 1, 2014 – the beginning of a new chapter will begin in my life. How will it unfold, I am uncertain at this point. From all my travels, I have not found a fully functioning a single crystal ball that can foresee the future!!
All I can do is trust and have faith in the Universe – believe that my path will unfold the way it needs to happen.
In life we are presented with many choices.
At times it may feel overwhelming with only 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week, 52 weeks in a year – to accomplish everything that needs my attention. In other times, I have caught myself wishing for more choices because the person next to me was presented with “better” or “different” choices.

Congratulations! You have decided on your travel destination and you are ready to figure out some logistics. In my mind, flights are fairly easy to book and there are many travel agents to help you out if help is needed. Otherwise, the interweb has a plethora of suggestions right at your fingertips!
Accommodations on the other hand require a personal touch – more so, one has to know oneself and one’s preferences and requirements. From my past travels, I have gotten to know myself as I try to find the appropriate accommodations that are suitable for me. Continue reading
