Monologue: Living Vicariously

Ever since I’ve started my globe trotting after my longest relationship ended at the age of 30. Many have said to me that they live vicariously through me. Typically because they lack or claim to lack one or more of these things: time, freedom, money, courage, curiosity OR they allow or use some of these as reasons to stay at home: dependents, commitments, obligations, daily routines, family, work.

As time went on, I learn that I also live vicariously through others. Continue reading

Freedom Friday

Facing personal truths and purging yourself of addictions or manipulative habits require strength, courage, humility, faith, and the other qualities of a soul with stamina, because your are not just changing yourself; you are changing your universe. Your soul is a compass. Change one coordinate in your spiritual compass and you change your entire life’s direction.

Aside from posting my own material on WordPress and Tumblr – I will keep reblogging other people’s beautiful photos and quotes on Tumblr. Today I have joined P interest – so feel free to follow me there as well!

While I have your attention, I hope my writings have been helpful. Thank you muchly for following me and reading my posts!! This will be my 200th post on WordPress – how time flies!

I am happy our paths have crossed in this lifetime. Namaste.

10 years – how time flies. What has happened in the last 10 years. What has changed. What has stayed the same. Continue reading

Money talks differently…

To those who know me well, I can be quite the procrastinator. Sometimes I have lame, or very lame excuses. Sometimes, it’s really a matter of priority, such that if I’ve procrastinated for 2 weeks, what’s another week when I have something that’s due today?!

Well I know I been home from my 2013 Epic Journey since end of July. I have traveled to the Canadian Rockies in August and to New York City in November. But at the end of the day, I still have not sat down and done the expense summary I started while traveling to 14 different countries.

I mean, sure, the money is spent already but to some degree I want to know what percentage of my money was spent on logistics and what was spent on fun. This way, in the future, when someone ask me how to budget their trips, I can be of assistance. Also, this way I know where my money has gone. Continue reading
