Weekly Photo Challenge: On Top (World)

With this week’s photo challenge, it is emphasizing and reminding me how much I enjoy hiking to the top of a mountain or a higher elevation. I do get affected by altitude sickness though, as realized on the Inca Trail. With this effort though, I have gained experiences along the way and am allowed to enjoy the view from a different perspective.

Here are some views from the 7 continents:

In life, if I always see my surroundings, events and interactions from the same point of view – I will become and remain complacent. However, when I have to shift my viewpoint, a ripple effect can occur – I may gain a different perspective, insight and/or understanding. A whole new world can open up when a small shift occur.

Focusing too much on the future, may cause fear and anxiety.

Focusing too much on the past, may cause regrets.

Focusing too much on myself, may cause selfishness and become inconsiderate.

All in moderation…
