Sometimes when I’m busy as a tourist in a different country, different city, different area – I forget that all the locals are carrying on with their daily life, as with my friends and family. If I temporarily forget my bucket list and try to connect and observe the normalcy that is occurring in front of my eyes, perhaps I can be a part of it too.
While visiting in Ubud, Bali – I wandered and doddled without a plan and just observed…
One of many rice paddy
Balinese women transporting heavy stones to construction site with their head
Beautiful Balinese girl strikes a pose effortlessly on a scooter
Breakfast snacks for sale
Balinese women buy take out food
Window shopping – traditional Balinese dresses
Intricate sculptures decorate traditional entrances to Balinese compounds
Intricate sculpture work in the making
Gorgeous Ganesha sculpture found inside entrance of Balinese compound
Morning yoga
Floating floral decoration
Beautiful images, and the series has got a great variety too 🙂

Nice photos! I’m going to Bali – and spending most of my time in Ubud. I’ve planned out my trip a bit too heavily – although I have left out an afternoon to just ‘observe’ and take it all in. Thanks for sharing your journey!

Thank you! Enjoy Ubud and Bali! Whatever that needs to be experienced will happen. Plans are good. Though be willing to allow unexpected events. Flexibility is key. Bon voyage!
